Will it work if I have no eyebrows at all?
Yes. You don't need a single brow hair. It draws straight onto bare skin: each light press leaves a small cluster of separate, hair-like strokes, so it reads as a brow and not as one drawn line.
No needles, and nothing goes into the skin. If you're in treatment, patch-test first and check with your care team.
Will it cover microblading that turned grey or blue?
It doesn't remove the old pigment. It lays separate hair-like strokes in front of it, with tiny gaps between them, so the eye notices brows instead of one flat block of colour. A pencil does the opposite: it lays a solid layer that mixes with the old colour and turns muddy.
Does it look like real hair? Is it hard to do?
The tip is a cluster of ultra-fine bristles, so one light press puts down a few fine strokes at once. You don't draw hairs one by one. Press lightly: that's the whole technique. Most people get it within a few mornings, and it takes about 2 minutes.
Which shade is mine?
Quick guide: Black Brown is cool with zero red, and it's the most popular (it isn't darker, it's cooler). Brown is warm and has red in it. Light Brown suits blonde and light hair, Dark Brown suits deep brown hair, and Black suits black hair.

My microblading turned this grey blue color about 3 years after I got it done. I paid for two color corrections and it came back both times. I almost booked a third one when I found this pen. It took me maybe two mornings to get the technique down and now it takes 2 minutes with my coffee. My sister in law asked if I finally got my brows "redone professionally." I said no and she didn't believe me.

For anyone scared of the Black Brown, it looks dark in the pen but it applies way softer than it looks. Light little touches with just the tip, don't press, and build it up. It's cool toned which is exactly what cancels out the ashy grey from my old tattoo instead of mixing with it like every pencil I ever bought. And it washes off at night with my cleanser, so nothing new is going into my face ever again. That part was the whole point for me.

I plucked my eyebrows to death in the 90s like everyone else and they never grew back. 25 years of drawing them on with a pencil and they always looked drawn on, no matter how careful I was. This is the first thing that actually makes little separate hairs instead of a line. There's skin showing between the strokes, which sounds weird, but that's exactly why it reads as hair and not makeup. 2 minutes. I'm done buying pencils.

How do I apply InstaBrow so the strokes look like real hair?
Start with clean, dry skin. Hold the pen lightly and use the tips of the bristles with very little pressure. Make short upward strokes at the front, angle them through the arch, then use slightly longer outward strokes toward the tail. Let the marks dry before touching them.

Yes. You don't need a single brow hair. InstaBrow draws directly on bare skin. Each light press of the multi-bristle tip leaves a small cluster of separate, hair-like strokes with a little skin showing between them, which is what makes it read as a brow and not as one drawn line.
To build a brow from nothing, mark three small dots first (where the brow starts, where it arches and where it ends), then fill between them with light presses, following the direction hair would grow. An old photo of your brows makes a good map.

InstaBrow is temporary makeup. There are no needles and nothing goes into the skin: the strokes sit on the surface and come off with your normal cleanser or makeup remover at night.
The tip puts down several fine strokes with each press, so you don't have to draw hairs one at a time. That helps if your hands are unsteady or your fingertips are numb.
Skin can be more sensitive during treatment, so patch-test on your inner arm first and check with your care team before using any new cosmetic.
My brows grew back thin or patchy. Can it fill the gaps?
Yes. Place light strokes between and around the hairs you have, following the direction they grow, and extend the tail where it's missing. Your own hairs, including lighter or white ones, become part of the brow instead of something to paint over.

I over-plucked in the 90s. Will it work where there is almost no hair?
Yes. InstaBrow is designed to place fine cosmetic strokes directly on clean, dry skin. Use lighter pressure than you would with a regular pencil and build the shape gradually, especially through a sparse tail.
Will it look like real hair—or like I drew on my face?
The natural effect comes from separate strokes, changing angles and small gaps of visible skin. Very light pressure matters: pressing too hard can turn several fine marks into one thick shape. The tutorial shows the exact movement.
